Important Information:
We must improve our attendance! Some days our zoom attendance is 50%.  After doing a morning schedule this week, a high number of students requested we do that on a daily basis.

We want to listen to our students and teachers so we conducted a survey of both.  Here are the results.
All morning zoom schedule; 81.3% of teachers (76 participating) and 88.7% of students (699 participating).

We have decided to give this schedule a trial run for the next two weeks, From Jan. 11th to Jan 22nd.

If you like this schedule we must see a significant increase in attendance and engagement.

We want students to complete their zoom meetings by noon, then complete homework and seek out their teachers in the afternoon.
Teachers will keep office hours during the afternoon to be available to students needing additional help.

Classes will begin Monday at 8:15 and run in 45-minute increments with a 15-minute break in between so that we are done by noon.

Wednesday will still be advisory at 11:00.

We understand that some of you have misgivings about changing the schedule, and we want to hear from you. Please  email Mr. Carrasco ( to voice any concerns. Know that we are listening and share the goal of doing what is best for all RHS students.  At the end of this trial period, we will reevaluate attendance and engagement data and decide to use this schedule or last semester schedule.

Please keep in mind that at any point we go to Hybrid or "inperson" school, we will follow our traditional schedule.
